Learn the Piano is a piano note-reading course. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect what we need to run the course and to understand which ads work, and nothing else.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you buy, log in, or ask for your quiz plan by email.
- Your course progress: lessons completed, accuracy, speed and which notes you miss.
- Your quiz answers, to place you on the right day.
- Payment details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see your card number.
Microphone and MIDI
If you choose the microphone, sound is analyzed live in your browser to detect which note you play. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. MIDI input is handled the same way.
Advertising measurement
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to visits, quiz completions and purchases. This shares events (like “completed the quiz” or “purchased”), your browser’s technical details and, for purchases, a one-way hashed version of your email with Meta. You can opt out of ad personalization in your Meta account settings and with your browser’s tracking controls.
Where data lives
Accounts and progress are stored with Supabase. We keep data while your account exists and delete it on request.
Your choices
Email hallo@techbysager.ch to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
